I'm Ashley Bason-Paige, and I'm thrilled to lead this initiative aimed at transforming high school-level literacy instruction. With a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and experience as a high school English teacher, Literacy Coach, and English Department lead, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within inner-city school districts.

My passion for literacy education drives our mission here at The ElevatED Literacy Movement. I believe in seamlessly infusing prerequisites for complex reading into the grade-level curriculum, ensuring every student receives the support they need to excel.

Through engaging instructional videos and personalized professional development sessions for educators, we strive to provide a comprehensive education that empowers and uplifts every reader. My goal is to inspire a profound transformation in literacy education, empowering teachers across disciplines to elevate student comprehension and engagement.
